Good writing is an art.  While a badly-written text can fail to impress, having a well-written text is a critical element of successful communication.

I can help you or your organisation to create well-written, clearly-structured and well-targeted texts.  Attention to the client's needs, perceptiveness, and accuracy are the hallmarks of my approach.

With more than five years of experience in research and international policy environments in addition to my freelance work as a translator and editor, I can bring particular insights to texts relating to history, international relations, social science and development studies.

The services offered include:

• Proofreading: checking texts for basic grammatical errors, typos etc. and correcting these;
• English-language editing: substantive editing of texts for style and readability, as well as the correction of grammatical errors and eradication of typos;
• Substantive editing: working with the client to re-write and re-structure documents as necessary, for maximum impact;
• Copywriting: writing texts in line with the client's wishes, including undertaking the necessary background research.
